# At what point will we hit rate limiting events?

Just like with EBS, rate limiting can only occur if the maximum IOPS or throughput configured on the volumes associated with Zesty Disk is reached. Zesty Disk lets you change IOPS or throughput configuration within AWS EBS limitations.
