# Why did I get an invoice of 1.01 from AWS?

When selling Reserved Instances (RIs) on the Marketplace, the seller typically sets a price for the RI based on the remaining duration and payment option (no-upfront, partial- upfront or full-upfront). When selling a No-Upfront RI, AWS sets a default price of $1.01 which sellers usually amend to $0 by following the instructions found [here](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSEC2/latest/UserGuide/ri-market-general.html#ri-market-selling-listing). If a charge like this appears on your invoice, it indicates that the system purchased an RI where the default price value was left unchanged by the seller.
