# Find your Zesty API key

This topic describes how to find your Zesty API key. This key is required for certain actions, like onboarding Member accounts (formerly known as subaccounts) via API.

### Prerequisites

- User access to the Zesty platform

#### To find your Zesty API key:

1. From the main menu, select **Zesty Disk**.
2. On the **Managed Filesystems** tab, click **Install agent**.
3. In the Install agent popup, select an operating system. You can find the API key on the last line of the code, for example:
