Agent HF 6.6.0

This release provides the following enhancements and fixes:

Enhancements

• When the Zesty Disk Agent is installed on Amazon Linux 2023 and Debian 12 instances, it now upgrades automatically.

• Root users who are not in the sudoers file can now run Zesty Disk Agent commands. The sudo prefix is no longer necessary.

• When upgrading major API versions, the URL used by the Zesty Disk Agent to communicate with the Zesty Disk backend is now automatically updated. For example, when moving from API v6 to API v7, existing instances will automatically use the new URL.

• To view the API key, run zestyctl config get general.api_key. This command replaces other commands. The API key, used to link the Zesty Disk Agent to your organization, is set during installation of the Zesty Disk Agent.

Fixes

• EZswitch was not blocked on ephemeral volumes.

• Reporting on Amazon Linux 2023 and Debian 12 instances wasn't consistent.

• In some cases, EZswitch was unstable.
