Kubernetes resource optimization

This section describes the Multi-dimensional autoscaling (“MDA”) optimization and Adaptive Pod placement solutions.

MDA combines these optimization capabilities:

  • Pod rightsizing: optimizes CPU and memory resources for individual Pods

  • Replica optimization: optimizes minimum replica counts for workloads

Manage EKS clusters

To see and manage EKS clusters, be sure that you’ve integrated an AWS account for Kompass use with EKS permissions. For more information, see Onboard an AWS account with Zesty platform.

Kubernetes resource optimization supported environments

Multi-dimensional autoscaling and Adaptive Pod placement support these environments:
