Agent v6.9.1
The Agent release includes the following enhancements and bug fixes:
Enhancements
EZswitch on Linux instances was enhanced in the following ways:
When running EZswitch using zestyctl, volume snapshots are created by default. To skip snapshot creation, add the
—-skip-snapshot
flag. When running EZswitch using zestyctl, a new verification stage runs to check if the environment supports EZswitch. To skip this verification step, add the
-–skip-verification
flag. For enhanced stability, to run EZswitch from the Zesty platform, you must have the latest Zesty Disk Agent installed. If you don’t see the EZswitch option from the platform, you may need to upgrade the Agent. To upgrade, reinstall the Agent as described in Install the Zesty Disk Agent on standalone instances.
For better troubleshooting, failure messages related to the start of EZswitch were made more specific.
Bug fixes
When running Zesty Disk on Windows, filesystems do not expand past 14 volumes.
When installing Zesty Disk on ZFS, an installation complete message is shown even though the installation has not completed.
In some cases, after rebooting a ZFS instance, Zesty Disk does not remount.
In very rare cases, Zesty Disk shrink operations cause the NFS service to hang.
