# zestyctl logs collect - Collect logs

This topic describes the `zestyctl logs collect` CLI command.

This command collects Zesty Disk Agent, zestyctl, and system logs. The logs are saved to **/var/log/zesty/zesty-logs-<instance_ID>-<date>_<time>.zip**. You can provide these logs to Zesty Disk engineers for debugging.

### Syntax

`zestyctl logs collect`

### Parameters

| Parameter | Description | Required |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `zestyctl logs collect` | Runs the command | Y |

### Output

Output similar to the following is displayed:

```plaintext
# zestyctl logs collect
Starting log collection process.
Log collection completed successfully.
You can locate the output report at the following location: /var/log/zesty/zesty-logs-i-1234567890abcdef0-20250312_12382.zip

### Prerequisites

- The Zesty Disk Agent is installed.

The zestyctl CLI is enabled as part of the Agent installation.
