# zestyctl version - Get the version of the zestyctl package

This topic describes the `zestyctl --version` CLI command.

This command shows the version of the zestyctl package installed on an instance.

### Syntax

`zestyctl --version`

### Parameters

| Parameter | Description | Required |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `zestyctl --version` | Returns the version of the zestyctl package | Y |

### Output

The output shows the version of the zestyctl package installed on this instance.

### Prerequisites

- The Zesty Disk Agent is installed.

The zestyctl CLI is enabled as part of the Agent installation.
