Workload recommendation drawer

The recommendation slide-out drawer describes the recommendations and shows data for a given workload. The drawer has these tabs:

• Spot

• Headroom reduction

• Cost over time

If a recommendation was suggested for a workload, the Spot and Headroom reduction tabs include the following:

• Issue: what the recommendation is

• Solution: how the recommendation will optimize cost for this workload

• Action required: how to implement the recommendation

• Activate button: click to see implementation instructions

Spot tab

The Spot tab also shows a graph that monitors the pod count over time and a comparison of current pod boot time with the expected boot time after implementing Spot management:

Headroom reduction tab

The Headroom reduction tab includes a table that shows how pod utilization will improve after implementing the recommended reduction:

The tab also shows graphs for Used CPU vs. requests and Used GB RAM vs. requests.

Cost over time tab

The Cost over time graph shows the cost for different instance types over time for this workload.
