This section describes how to use the Auto Extend feature to automatically extend filesystems that are not supported by Zesty Disk.

You enable Auto Extend by applying an Auto Extend policy to a filesystem. We recommend enabling Auto Extend on all filesystems that are not supported by Zesty Disk. This can improve stability and reduce manual work.

Before you apply a policy, you need to create it. You can do that on-the-fly when you apply a policy, or you can do it separately, before you apply.

When you create a policy, a simulation shows a graph of disk usage versus disk size according to the policy that you define.
