Deploy Zesty Disk on standalone instances

This section describes how to deploy Zesty Disk.

The following list introduces the most common ways to start working with Zesty Disk.

• Create a new Zesty Disk filesystem
  Use this method to create a Zesty Disk. After it’s created, you can copy data to it or use it with your applications.
  Note: Before deploying, complete the tasks in Before you deploy.

• Migrate existing data to Zesty Disk
  Use the EZswitch feature to create a Zesty Disk and to migrate existing data to it, utilizing your organization's maintenance windows, without application downtime.

• Extend filesystems with Auto Extend
  Use the Auto Extend feature to extend filesystems that are not supported by Zesty Disk.
  Note: Before deploying, complete the tasks in Before you deploy.

• Run AWS Auto Scaling Group with Zesty Disk

  Configure AWS Auto Scaling Groups to be compatible with Zesty Disk.

• Run EMR with Zesty Disk
  Configure Amazon EMR to be compatible with Zesty Disk.
